Doppelter Parallelismus 1.Periode über der Erde - 1.Periode unter der Erde.
A - B Himmel taut - Wolken regnet (synonym)
E - F Erde öffnet - sprosst den Erlöser (konsekutiv).
Der Parallelismus wird angezeigt durch Wiederholung von Neumen (caeli - pluant, terra - germinet). Cento F wird, obwohl ein Cento TER mit TrcINT eingeleitet: hier liegt die Hauptaussage, obwohl melodisch der tiefste Akzent aller Centones.
„Ro-ra-te“ Ang verwendet für den Sca (-23) meist ein eigenes Graphem, das als 3toniger Pes zu lesen ist, also den ersten Ton des kPes in E auslässt, aber dafür das „la“ verdoppelt. Das spricht sehr für die Flüchtigkeit de „re“ in dieser Neume und für die Unzulänglichkeit des Tönezählens.

„et germinet“ Wie praktisch immer: nur E + Kl schreiben Trc, alle anderen Haben den TrcINT zur Clv reduziert. Kl wie immer TerzTrc, E schreibt keinen Intervallhinweis. Das GN hat sich wie üblich dem codex Kl ergeben.
Tauet ihr Himmel von oben / ihr Wolken regnet den Gerechten. Es öffne sich die Erde / und sprosse den Erlöser. Dew ye heavens from above, / ye clouds rain down the righteous. Let the earth open / and sprout the Redeemer.
Double parallelism: 1st period above the earth – 1st period below the earth.
A – B Heaven thaws – clouds rain (synonymous)
E – F Earth opens – brings forth the Saviour (consecutive).
The parallelism is indicated by the repetition of neumes (caeli – pluant, terra – germinet). Cento F is introduced, although a Cento TER with TrcINT: here lies the main message, although melodically it is the lowest accent of all the centones.
“Ro-ra-te” Ang usually uses his own grapheme for the Sca (-23), which is to be read as a 3-note pes, i.e. omitting the first note of the kPes in E, but doubling the “la” instead. This strongly suggests the fleeting nature of the “re” in this neume and the inadequacy of tone counting.
TrcINT
“et germinet” As always: only E + Kl write Trc, all others have reduced the TrcINT to Clv. Kl as always TerzTrc, E writes no interval hint. As usual, the GN has yielded to the codex Kl.
