Ein sehr altes Halleluja. Das Ende des Verses ist in C nicht notiert, allerdings in anderen G-Handschriften. Dieses Versende ist nicht Wiederaufnahme des Jubilus. Neben dem Beleg schon in Rheinau (damit vor 800) spricht auch das für ein sehr hohes Alter.
V. Denn ein großer Gott ist der Herr / und ein großer König über alle Götter. V. For the Lord is a great God / and a great king over all gods.
A very ancient Hallelujah. The end of the verse is not notated in C, though it is in other G manuscripts. This ending is not a reprise of the Jubilus. In addition to its presence as early as Rheinau (and thus before 800), this also suggests that it is very ancient.
