„cre-di-bília“ ist ein akzentvorbereitender Trc. In den frühen diastematischen Handschriften A führt der Trc bereits zum „do“ (nicht in Mp!). Diesem Stand entspricht E. Wie immer man das „equaliter“ in E werten will, es verweist auf den ersten Ton der Silbe „bí“ als „si“ (wie bei A). Unsere Lösung bleibt, entgegen den Quellen, der klassische akzentvorbereitende Torculus zwischen „sol“ und „si“. L und Ch widersprechen dem nicht.
„di-e-rum“ Die si-be-molle in diesem Melisma sind schlechterdings unglaubwürdig. Der erste Teil des Melismas (24 Töne): Alle Quellen (auch L ~930) erreichen den Strophicus unisonisch, bereits ein Merkmal der 2. Gregorianik. Authentischer Choral müsste den Strophicus vom „si“ aus erreichen. Ob es sich hier um frühe do-Revision handelt oder eine Spezialität der Soloverse des Offertoriums, ist nicht zu entscheiden.
V2. Wunderbar ist der Herr in den Höhen / Deine Weisungen sind überaus zuverlässig, deinem Haus gebührt Heiligung, Herr / für die Länge der Tage [= in Ewigkeit]. V2. Wonderful is the Lord in the heights / Your instructions are exceedingly reliable, sanctification is due to your house, Lord / for the length of days [= for eternity].
“cre-di-bília” is an accent-preparatory Trc. In the early diastematic manuscripts A, the Trc already leads to “do” (not in Mp!). E corresponds to this position. However one wishes to evaluate the “equaliter” in E, it refers to the first tone of the syllable ‘bí’ as “si” (as in A). Contrary to the sources, our solution remains the classic accent-preparing torculus between “sol” and “si.” L and Ch do not contradict this.
“di-e-rum” The si-be-molle in this melisma are simply implausible. The first part of the melisma (24 notes): All sources (including L ~930) reach the strophicus in unison, already a feature of 2nd Gregorian chant. Authentic chant would have to reach the strophicus from “si.” Whether this is an early do revision or a specialty of the solo verses of the Offertory cannot be determined.
