Schon Bv39 notiert „sol-re“ (Bv33 unbestimmt).

Remember your word for your servant, Lord, with which you gave me hope.
This has comforted me in my humiliation.

‘Me-mento’ GrN It is not clear what the mode indication in C (III = 3) has to do with the ‘sol’. Of the 28 COs in Deuterus, 9 begin with ‘mi’, 10 with “sol”, and only 3 with ‘fa’. The incipit neumes Virga – kPes could be read as ‘re-la’ as in 0600, or as ‘mi-sol’ as in ‘Iustorum animae’ 0672, where they are marked with inferius. ‘Memento verbi’ begins with “fa” sursum, higher than ‘Iustorum animae’.

‘Me-men-to’ The unison transition in L (Pes ‘fa-la’) can be discerned in all adiastematic manuscripts with the exception of Ch (Ang initio debilis). The music-historical/aesthetic question must be asked as to whether “f-ga-a” (Ch) is not already a later, melodically conceived form, whilst “f-fa-a” is older and conceived/perceived in a linguistic, recitative manner.

‘ser-vo’ The Pes ‘sol-mi’ in GrN must be rejected. Of all the diastematic manuscripts, only Bv34 writes it this way. Even Bv39 notates ‘sol-re’ (Bv33 is indeterminate). Of interest are the letters “pl” next to the “humiliter” in L. The 'inferius± in E also suggests ‘sol-re’
