1FML alloq „Hódie“ ist das Schlüsselwort dieser Antiphon und des gesamten Weihnachtsfestkreises. Viermal erklingt es in dieser Antiphon. Nachdem die Formel alloquium im codex H schon sechs mal erklungen ist 0045ff, wird es hier am Beginn der Antiphon nicht nocheinmal mit aequaliter festgelegt. Wenn diese Formel aber zum ersten mal im Innern der Antiphon erklingt, das dritte „hódie“, erinnern zwei aequaliter an den genauen Melodieverlauf „hodie in terra canunt“. Das zweite und vierte „hodie“ stehen im Kontrast dazu: Das zweite kann als
INC ad1 verstanden werden, aber auch als Variante des 1FML alloq zur Sekund verkürzt. Das vierte „hodie“ transponiert die Formel eine Terz höher und beschließt sie mit Pes sub(tri)punctis.
1MED Der wesentliche Cento der Antiphon ist die Mediatio, die dreimal auf 1FML alloq folgt. Die Porrectus-Variante verstärkt den Anfangsakzent und beschleunigt ihn. Im Gegensatz zur Normalform enden alle vier Fälle in 0170 auf „la“ und bilden so
colon.

FML quia leitet die Schlussgruppe ein. Das Wort „dicentes“ könnte sinngemäß durchaus durch „quia“ ersetzt werden.

1FML alloq „Hódie“ is the key word of this antiphon and of the entire Christmas cycle. It is heard four times in this antiphon. Since the formula alloquium has already been heard six times in codex H 0045ff, it is not repeated here at the beginning of the antiphon with aequaliter. However, when this formula is heard for the first time in the inside of the antiphon, the third „hódie“, two aequaliter remind us of the exact melodic progression „hodie in terra canunt“. The second and fourth „hodie“ stand in contrast to this: The second can be read as
INC ad1, but also as a variant of 1FML alloq shortened to the second. The fourth „hodie“ transposes the formula a third higher and concludes it with Pes sub(tri)punctis.
1MED The essential cento of the antiphon is the mediatio, which follows 1FML alloq three times. The porrectus variant intensifies the initial accent and accelerates it. In contrast to the normal form, all four cases in 0170 end in „la“ and thus form
colon.
