Suddenly switching to “sa” makes little sense; only Mp writes “sa,” Kl goes to “do.” Question: What could ‘mediocriter’ mean in E for the second note and ‘sursum’ for the upper bass clef? This “si” should be seen in context: “et **in me** psallebant qui bibebant vinum.” Is the psalmist indignant here, or is he resigned?
