Es kann für den unisonischen Anschluss ("mi"), aber auch für den Halbton-Anschluss ("fa") stehen. Bei den frühen diastematischen Quellen steht Benevent gegen Aquitanien (Bv34/20 gegen A+Y). Ch spricht wohl für "mi" ist aber an dieser Stelle nicht wirklich lesbar. Bv20/191v a3 ist nur ein weiteres Bv, es ändert nichts an der 50:50 Situation. Der Custos in Bv33 ist ebenfalls nicht eindeutig, er könnte aber für "fa" sprechen. Die Erkenntnisse aus dem Offizium lassen uns für frOr und damit für A+Y "fa" plädieren. |

It can stand for the unison connection (‘mi’), but also for the semitone connection (‘fa’). In the early diastematic sources, Benevento stands against Aquitaine (Bv34/20 against A+Y). Ch probably speaks in favour of ‘mi’ but is not really legible at this point. Bv20/191v a3 is just another Bv, it does not change the 50:50 situation. The custos in Bv33 is also ambiguous, but it could speak in favour of “fa”. The findings from the Office allow us to argue in favour of frOr and thus for A+Y ‘fa’. |
